I saw a meme on Facebook this morning with this quote. It’s a quote from Lisa Bevere’s book, Adamant. I have not read the book, and Amazon describes it this way: “Lisa Bevere calls readers to stand firm in Christ in a world of constantly shifting values.”
So be adamant about your values. Don’t shift with cultural whims or flights of fancy. Be true to yourself. And all that. Check!
Not every topic is equally important. You know this. I know this. And yet, millions of trigger happy internet users seem to not.
Have you ever seen a kid get ridiculously excited about spending the night at a friend’s house, only to call his parents late at night begging them to bring him home?
No matter what the problem, you have to start somewhere. So let’s keep it simple:
Something is wrong with you and you don’t know what.
If God has hinted at your purpose in life, or if you are welling up inside with a dream that is yet unfulfilled, should you wait on the Lord in prayer until it is released? Or should you get off your butt and go make it happen? This is one of the greatest dilemmas I’ve seen among “charismatic” believers.
